X5 Group has reported its Q2 and H1 2019 results for the period ended 30 June 2019.

Q2 2019:

Total group sales increased 14.4% year on year (y-o-y) to RUB435.58 billion. LFL sales increased 5.0%.

  • Pyaterochka sales increased 15.6% to RUB349.39 billion. LFL sales increased 4.8%.
  • Perekrestok sales increased 18.1% to RUB65.12 billion. LFL sales increased 7.7%.
  • Karusel sales decreased 3.6% to RUB21.06 billion. LFL sales increased 0.4%.
  • Perekrestok.ru sales increased 325.0% to RUB867 million.
  • During Q2 2019, retailer opened 468 Pyaterochka stores, 14 Perekrestok stores, and closed 1 Karusel store.
  • Total selling space increased by 187,476 square metres to 6,786,064 square metres.

H1 2019:

Total group sales increased 14.8% y-o-y to RUB839.70 billion. LFL sales increased 5.0%.

  • Pyaterochka sales increased 15.9% to RUB664.66 billion. LFL sales increased 4.8%.
  • Perekrestok sales increased 19.2% to RUB131.57 billion. LFL sales increased 8.1%.
  • Karusel sales decreased 2.5% to RUB42.98 billion. LFL sales increased 1.2%.
  • Perekrestok.ru sales increased 365.1% to RUB1.76 billion.
  • During H1 2019, retailer opened 863 Pyaterochka stores, 25 Perekrestok stores, and closed 4 Karusel stores.
  • Total selling space increased by 322,330 square metres to 6,786,064 square metres.

As of 30 June 2019, retailer operated 15,260 stores including 14,385 Pyaterochka proximity stores, 785 Perekrestok supermarkets, and 90 Karusel hypermarkets.
